The selection process at The International Butler Institute is based exclusively on CV screening. Unlike many institutions that accept virtually all applicants, TIBI has deliberately chosen a different approach.
This level of selectivity is essential, as the quality of our participants inevitably impacts the credibility of our graduates and the professional placement opportunities that follow.
For this reason, admission standards are strict and carefully maintained.
Candidates who are not accepted may submit a new application only after a period of five years, allowing sufficient time for meaningful professional and personal development.
We kindly ask applicants to respect our decision should they not be accepted, as it simply indicates that we believe their current profile may not align comfortably with the culture, philosophy, and values of TIBI.
This decision should not be interpreted as a judgement of personal ability, but rather as a matter of alignment with the specific standards and expectations of our Institute.
In order to maintain a truly world-class level of quality, each session is strictly limited to just 20 participants.
This reduced intake, combined with a single annual session, allows us to be highly selective, choosing only the most promising and high-performing candidates while preserving the strong professional placement focus for our graduates.
For this reason, and given that we receive applications from all over the world, The International Butler Institute strongly recommends submitting your application well in advance.
Our Grand Butler Training program is not only designed for newcomers but is also ideal for active butlers seeking to refine and elevate their skills.
Our modular approach allows experienced butlers to customize their training schedule, ensuring compatibility with on-going professional commitments while still achieving the highest level of expertise in private service.
Butlers who are currently working in private households and are sent by their employers are also welcome to participate.
